  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, coolers, freezers, equipment, walls, and floors.
  • Sweep, scrub, and mop kitchen floors as needed.
  • Assist with dishwashing—all members of the kitchen team contribute to keeping the operation clean and organized.
  • Remove trash, clean garbage containers, and maintain designated trash areas.
  • Follow Safe Staff sanitation standards, proper handwashing procedures, food-safety requirements, and knife-safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, uniform, and personal grooming.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with fellow team members.
  • Take ownership and pride in the hotel, restaurant, kitchen, and guest experience.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management to support our guests and the culinary operation.

What You'll Have

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, equivalent, or higher.
  • Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience.
  • Previous culinary/kitchen experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to take direction while also working independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to remain professional and productive during high-pressure situations.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and quality.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on culinary position. Team members must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods of time.
