Diagnose and repair small engine equipment, specializing in STIHL products Participate in Stihl classes and certification as needed Perform routine maintenance tasks on various types of outdoor power equipment Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs Utilize diagnostic tools and manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history Provide excellent customer service, including explaining repairs and equipment operation Assist in inventory management, including ordering parts and maintaining stock levels Assist with helping build loads for outbound deliveries, carefully packaging and arranging materials for transport depending on business needs Maintain inventory control by labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock, ensuring an organized and efficient yard Assist customers with merchandise selection and pull merchandise as needed for checkouts Work effectively in an outdoor environment, adapting to varying temperatures and weather conditions Assist with lumber yard development, maintenance and organizing inventory Additional duties as assigned What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Stihl Repair Technician? High school diploma or equivalent Construction or building material experience is preferred, but not required Proven experience in small engine repair, particularly with STIHL equipment 2+ years of forklift experience preferred, but forklift operating training is also provided Valid Driver's License and prior experience in driving non-CDL vehicles for deliveries required Ability to lift up to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, handle large odd-shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas Requires frequent standing and walking Ability to work outside in varying temperatures and weather Previous lumber yard experience preferred Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills This is a part-time position with the following schedule: Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Friday: 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. What’s It Like To Work for Nation’s Best?
