What You'll Do
As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner to plant and operational leadership while leading the day-to-day HR function for your assigned location(s). You will provide guidance and support across all areas of Human Resources, ensuring our people strategies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies that support operational goals.
Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead workplace investigations and ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
Support recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
Facilitate performance review processes, performance improvement plans, and leadership coaching.
Support compensation planning, salary administration, and annual merit review processes.
Analyze HR metrics, including turnover, retention, staffing, absenteeism, and engagement, to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Partner with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Operations to promote a safe and productive work environment.
Lead or participate in HR projects supporting organizational growth, acquisitions, process improvements, and change management.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
At least 3 years of HR leadership or HR Manager experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations.
Strong knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
Experience with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP experience is a plus).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Leadership.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Predictive Index (PI).
