PacArctic, LLC, (PAC) a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to support PacArctic and our government customer in Portal, ND.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties:

The Deputy Project Manager support the Project Manager to serve as primary representative; manage contract-related matters, notices, deliverables, and daily operations. The primary responsibilities will be:

  • Oversee building maintenance, ensure uninterrupted service, and liaise with Contracting Officer Representative for multiple government sites located in Bismarck, Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota
  • Manage staffing, subcontracting and Building Operating Plan
  • Administer NCMMS; oversee energy/water efficiency
  • Manage safety, environmental compliance and system maintenance
  • Coordinate additional services and prepare reports.
  • Ensure staff training/certification manage emergencies
  • Coordinate with contractors/Government personnel
  • Implement sustainable practices, pest management, and waste programs
  • Oversee special maintenance: snow removal, grounds
  • Manage hazardous materials and fire protection systems
  • Maintain architectural and structural systems
  • Maintain an active system file to Government access account ENT for NCMMS usage
  • Complete mandatory IT Security Training for Agency and Contractor Employees

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • High School diploma
  • A minimum of 10 years of O&M/Facilities Management type experience (preferably supporting federal/government sites), with at least 5 years in a project management/supervisory role and 3-5 years as a Project Manager, Deputy PM or equivalent.
  • Experience must be in the operation, management, and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for buildings of the approximate size, complexity, and characteristics of the buildings covered under the North Dakota government contract
