About the Role:

Sparks Concrete LLC is looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Bunnell, FL! In this key role, you'll be at the heart of our project pipeline — analyzing costs, crafting competitive bids, and helping drive the success of concrete construction projects from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete construction projects
Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive bids
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing
Collaborate with project managers and field crews to align estimates with real-world conditions
Track and analyze project costs against estimates to improve future bidding accuracy
Maintain organized records of bids, contracts, and cost data
Identify potential project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates

Requirements:

Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in concrete or civil work
Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and labor costs
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude
Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
