Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the technical development of the ATS (Automatic Train Supervision) system for the EBI Screen programs, contributing to Alstom’s mission of shaping the future of mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the business (System, Software, V&V, Safety, and Quality), coordinate technical roadmaps and baselines, and ensure the delivery of proof-of-concepts and demonstrators, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as the technical project leader, structuring activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring system-level coherence,

  • Coordinating all technical mĂ©tiers involved, including System, Software, V&V, Safety, and Quality,

  • Defining and maintaining the technical roadmap and baselines in line with the Engineering Management Plan,

  • Ensuring proper application of engineering processes, standards, methods, and tools. ,

  • Ensuring that the system meets the expected performance and functional requirements,

  • Allocating and following up on bug fixes and anomaly corrections,

  • Preparing, organizing, and monitoring Design Reviews and Peer Reviews across engineering teams,

  • Acting as the main technical interface for the program, ensuring alignment with stakeholders,

  • Preparing QCD analyses related to engineering scope and supporting technical planning,

  • Contributing to continuous improvement, including process optimization, lessons learned, KPIs, and engineering workflow evolution.

  • Degree in Engineering, Software, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent. A Master’s degree is preferred,

  • Experience or understanding of system, software, V&V, or other related fields,

  • Knowledge of system/software development lifecycles and agile processes,

  • Familiarity with system architecture, requirements engineering, and V&V processes,

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

  • Natural technical leadership and ability to bring multiple mĂ©tiers together,

  • Awareness of Safety, RAM, QCD, and product quality constraints,

  • Innovative mindset, curiosity, and creativity,

  • Hands-on approach, with a willingness to interact with teams on the ground and participate in train tests.
