About the Role:
1st Response Occupational Health is looking for a skilled Contract EMT or Paramedic to provide on-site medical support at an active construction site in Durant, OK, Lubbock, TX and various locations in Texas. Â This is a 90 day contract with option to extend or Full-time offer. This is an exciting opportunity to put your emergency medical skills to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your presence makes a real difference in worker safety every single day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site emergency medical care and first aid to construction site personnel
- Assess, treat, and document workplace injuries and medical emergencies
- Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and treatment area readiness
- Coordinate with EMS, hospitals, and site safety teams during emergency situations
- Conduct injury surveillance and assist with occupational health screenings
- Support site safety initiatives and participate in safety meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with 1st Response physician’sÂ
Requirements:
- Current EMT or Paramedic certification (state or NREMT)
- Experience in emergency medical services, occupational health, or industrial settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required;Â
- Ability to work independently in an outdoor construction environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Physically able to respond quickly and work in varying weather conditions
