Job Purpose or Objective(s): 聽You will help implement Choctaw Nation鈥檚 environmental programs for all tribal facilities and fee and trust lands. You will report to the Environmental Compliance Officer.

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm | Hybrid work is a possibility after the first 90 days |聽Starting at $26.33/hour

This position supports Choctaw Nation environmental programs across tribal facilities and fee and trust lands, reporting to the Environmental Assessment Officer. Responsibilities include conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, collecting field and inspection data, investigating environmental concerns, and supporting regulatory compliance. The role implements environmental policies and best management practices, maintains documentation, and assists with grant deliverables, EPA progress reports, and budget tracking. Candidates need a science-related associate degree or equivalent experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and up to one year of experience, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Primary Tasks:

1.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will collect data on sample collections, inspections, and walk throughs to assist with the compliance of federal, state, local, and tribal regulations and provide information to senior coordinators for reporting purposes.

2.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will assist senior coordinators by gathering information at sites where environmental related issues have been reported and relaying important information to Senior Coordinators.

3.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will follow Choctaw Nation environmental policies.聽

4.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will implement environmental policies and best management practices.

5.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will maintain good documentation of all job-related activities.

6.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will help complete grant tasks and compiling quarterly progress reports to EPA Project Officer. Complete status and progress reporting documents per program goals.聽 Help maintain budget spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets).

7.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Associates degree in a science related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work independently or in a group and manage priorities with guidance and input from manager.
