Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in selection and preparation of medications for physician orders, stocking supplies, maintaining clean work environment, correctly delivering medications, and assuring medication barcodes are scanned correctly. You will report to the Director.

Primary Tasks:

1.聽聽聽聽聽 Order, verify receipt of, and store pharmaceuticals and supplies using generic, brand names and warehouse index numbers.

2.聽聽聽聽聽 Check incoming stock orders, complete receiving reports, ascertains damage, overage or shortage and complete reports.

3.聽聽聽聽聽 Assist pharmacist in providing medication, drug information and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel.

4.聽聽聽聽聽 Perform monthly inspections of clinic care areas to check for outdated pharmaceuticals, proper storage conditions and appropriate stock levels.

5.聽聽聽聽聽 Inventory control tasks including monitoring, pricing, dating, invoicing, stocking, and preparation of purchase orders.

6.聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain supplies of working stock in the outpatient pharmacy to complete requisitions.

7.聽聽聽聽聽 Rotate stock in pharmacy and on nursing units to assure maximum usage of dated stock.

8.聽聽聽聽聽 Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or GED

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license or;

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Willingness to undergo Phase I Technician training and obtain pharmacy technician license within 30 days of hire
