Job Purpose or Objective(s): Support low voltage Choctaw Nation cabling standards and installations for Telcom connectivity including non-VoIP phones systems like Nortel including Carrier circuits, and POT鈥檚 lines. You will report to the Director of Network Services.
Primary Tasks:
1.聽聽聽聽聽聽 You will pull fiber and copper cables in different environments.
2.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Terminate both copper and fiber cables.
3.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead in the installation of Telecom projects and tasks
4.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Install and support Nortel phones systems.
5.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work with Carriers and other third-party vendors supporting Telecom.
6.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform聽other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma or GED
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 No college degree or technical Certifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3+ years of Telecom experiences with installing and troubleshooting fiber and copper cabling.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prefer 2+ years working on/with phone systems like Nortel.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work on a ladder while pulling cable.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Physical ability to walk, stand, drive 3 hours, and carry 75lbs.
