As an Electronic Metrology Technician, you will calibrate and repair electronic test instruments in accordance with A2LA/ISO17025 standards.

  • Perform calibration and adjustments on a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment (M&TE)
  • Precisely follow policies and procedures, industry standards (ISO), and manufacturers' requirements for accurate calibration of electronic M&TE
  • Complete the required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic M&TE
  • Working knowledge/use of multifunction calibrators to include Fluke's 5500A and 5700A series
  • Working knowledge/use of 8.5-digit multimeters to include Keysight's 3458A and Fluke's 8588A
  • General familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 Quality Systems
  • Update gage tracking software
  • Good written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • METCAL exprience a plus

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of Electronic Metrology experience, formal training in Metrology, or previous Precision Measurement Equipment course (PMEL) required
  • Associate degree in Electronics preferred
  • Basic computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Office, and data entry
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification required
