Job DetailsJob Location: Durham, NC 27701The Role in Brief The Interior Designer will possess the skills to be an integral part of the interior design effort through all phases of a project. This position requires the candidate to be a leader within a team to develop solutions, create project designs, and participate in design charrettes. The Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, small to large-scale space planning, and must possess a working knowledge of interior construction detailing, interior specification coordination, be able to create conceptual designs and FF&E specifications. The ID will be responsible for preparing and leading presentations, design drawings, and managing construction drawings as well as coordination of all trades related to interior building design.Qualifications 2-5 years professional experience Proficiency in Revit and Adobe suite software Excellent graphic presentation skills Strong communication skills Knowledge of Building Codes Ability to multitask and self-manage time Professional degree in Interior Design Strongly Preferred Requirements: Pursuit of NCIDQ and LEED accreditation Rendering experience with Enscape, Lumion or similar programs Professional experience in healthcare design Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
