Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
- Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
- Inspection of alarm systems
- Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
- Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency's
- Available of nights and weekends
- Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
- Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time
Job Position Requirements:
- Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems
- Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices
- Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds
- Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends
