Description

BASIC SUMMARY:

Participates and assists with quality assurance responsibilities and tasks under the direction of Quality Assurance Management and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set forth by PharPoint Research, Inc. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and comply with company policies and SOPs
  • Assist members of Quality Assurance as needed in order to gain exposure to the daily operational responsibilities required within a research setting.
  • Assist members of various departments as needed.
  • Communicate accurate and timely status updates to other project team members and department management.
  • Perform training records scanning, and QC of electronic certified copies.
  • Assist members of QA during audit conduct.
  • Assist with maintenance of QA Tracker.
  • Join Audit prep and conduct meetings, and review Audit-related documents for exposure to audit-related duties.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Current student enrolled in college and obtaining a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Biology, Clinical Research, or related discipline.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines and demands.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and type at a computer.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

COMMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no limitations on driving availability.
