Work Performed

To study neuro-glia interactions in chronic pain using electrophysiological, behavioral, histochemical, and genetic approaches and animal models. Participate in collaborative projects with other Duke and UNC investigators. Participate in DoD and NIH projects on analgesic mechanisms. We also expect you to publish papers in excellent journals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Min Degree Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.). Other Credential/Experiential Requirements: Visiting scholar engaging in temporary research at Duke.
