Job Title: Service Cashier

Position Summary
Mark Jacobson Toyota is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Cashier to join our busy Service Department. As the final point of contact for customers after their service visit, the Service Cashier plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience by accurately processing payments, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally as they complete their service visit.
- Process payments accurately.
- Review repair orders and explain invoices as needed.
- Reconcile daily transactions.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the dealership management system.
- Assist service advisors and management with administrative tasks.
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Support the service team during busy periods to ensure efficient customer flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or dealership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
