Pharmacy automation, involving robotics and automated systems, plays a vital role in dispensing, packaging, labeling, and organizing medications with precision and efficiency. Our solution leverages Apache Kafka for streaming real-time events, ingested from software hosted at the edge, and Kubernetes to manage our cloud-based applications. Skills and Experience  

  • 8 + years of experience in software testing or relevant work experience. 

  • 4+ years of experience testing distributed, cloud-native software systems and microservices. 

  • Experience testing Event Driven architectures. 

  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or JMeter.  

  • Experience with automated testing of RESTful web APIs and web GUIs. 

  • Micro Service Architecture.   

  • Familiarity with integrating test automation and reporting into CI/CD platforms. 

  • Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture.  

  • End to End Test Planning, Test Reports and Test Case Traceability. 

  • Maintains a completion-focused attitude and is attentive to detail.  

 

Education  

  • B.S. Computer Science degree or related degree. 

  

Bonus Points  

  • Prior work experience with event-driven or streaming architectures is a huge plus. 

  • Experience with managed services for edge computing, such as Azure IoT Edge. 

  • Knowledge of software development leveraged with hardware such as PLCs, automation robots and conveyor solutions is a plus.  

  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharmacy automation domains is a plus. 

  • Experience with Kafka
