About This Opportunity
CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading consumer products organization to find a Zscaler DLP Engineer for their security team based in Durham, NC (Hybrid).
This team protects sensitive organizational data across cloud and on-premises environments using enterprise-grade data loss prevention tooling. As the organization continues to mature its data protection posture, this role will be central to designing, tuning, and operationalizing DLP controls that hold up to audit and real-world incident response.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy DLP policies and controls aligned with organizational security requirements
- Configure DLP rules, templates, and incident response workflows
- Monitor DLP alerts and incidents, investigate and remediate potential data exposure events
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams on data protection requirements
- Conduct regular policy reviews and optimize configurations for effectiveness and performance
- Provide technical support and training to end users on DLP best practices
- Document DLP policies, procedures, and architectural decisions
- Track platform updates and emerging data protection threats
Requirements
What You Bring
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience with data loss prevention solutions or related security roles
- Hands-on experience with a cloud-based DLP platform (e.g., Zscaler, Symantec, Forcepoint)
- Strong understanding of data classification, encryption, and security protocols
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Nice-to-Have:
- Zscaler certification or advanced training
- Experience with cloud security architecture
- Familiarity with SIEM and log management tools
- Background in compliance or risk management

- Zscaler DLP platform
- Cloud and on-premises data environments
- SIEM and log management integration
