The UNH English Department invites candidates to apply for a position as an Adjunct Instructor in the fall semester. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Creative Writing. This position will be asked to lead a section of ENGL 625A ‘Intermediate Fiction Workshop: Screenwriting’ during the fall 2026 semester (8/31/2026 – 12/14/2026)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • 75% Teaching: One section of ENGL 625A 'Intermediate Fiction Writing: Screenwriting"

  • 25% Service to the Department and University: Hold office hours for student feedback meetings and individual advising as needed.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • The successful candidate should have experience teaching creative writing/screenwriting skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Classroom experience as an instructor is strongly preferred.

Compensation Pay Range:

$5,000.00 per course/semester
