Job Summary: 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of production line operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role requires balancing people leadership, operational troubleshooting, and process improvement. The Production Supervisor will plan daily production schedules, assign work, ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards, and coordinate with other functions to maintain seamless operations. The role is crucial in driving continuous improvement, reducing waste, optimizing equipment utilization, and motivating production staff to achieve performance targets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead daily production operations across assigned lines, ensuring alignment with production schedules and targets. 
  • Supervise and mentor production associates, providing coaching, feedback, and corrective actions to maintain performance. 
  • Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety reminders, and process updates. 
  • Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime. 
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and workplace health regulations. 
  • Verify adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing practices (GMP), and quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues. 
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, analyzing variances and proposing corrective actions. 
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean/5S projects, waste reduction, and efficiency optimization. 
  • Manage attendance, shift planning, and timekeeping for production staff. 
  • Foster a positive and safe workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and respect. 
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving business needs and leadership directives. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong leadership and people management. 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and production systems.
