Job Summary: 

T The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians to ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and compliance with safety standards in a manufacturing environment. This role manages preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, coordinates with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, and ensures spare parts inventory is well maintained. The Maintenance Supervisor also drives continuous improvement projects that enhance equipment efficiency and extend asset life. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to building a proactive maintenance culture that supports production goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities and task assignments. 
  • Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. 
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff. 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous skill development. 
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment failures and lead root cause analysis. 
  • Enforce OSHA compliance and safety practices across maintenance operations. 
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and spare parts usage. 
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability without overstocking. 
  • Drive initiatives to improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). 
  • Support capital projects and new equipment installations. 
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving business needs and leadership directives. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education & Experience: 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role. 
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills. 
  • Technical expertise across multiple maintenance disciplines. 
  • Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance planning tools. 
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving ability. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
