Key Responsibilities:Â
- Receive and log incoming cannabis samples, ensuring chain of custody and METRC manifest accuracy.Â
- Prepare samples for analytical testing by labeling, photographing, and organizing them.Â
- Input and verify sample data in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and METRC.Â
- Coordinate closely with lab analysts and sample prep teams to maintain workflow efficiency.Â
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and state regulations.Â
- Support both routine and non-routine testing preparations using validated lab protocols.Â
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance to prevent cross-contamination of cannabis samples.Â
- Monitor and maintain sample storage areas for proper organization and compliance.Â
- Assist with basic data review and ensure all intake information is complete and accurate.Â
- Communicate professionally with clients when needed regarding sample intake issues or clarifications.Â
Required Skills & Experience:Â
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Â
- Experience with METRC and chain of custody procedures (preferred).Â
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.Â
- Proficiency in data entry and documentation best practices.Â
- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.Â
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain regulatory compliance.Â
- Prior experience in cannabis, environmental, or clinical laboratory settings is a plus.Â
- Familiarity with analytical testing or scientific environments preferred.Â
