Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesÂ
Cut fabrics using various large format cutting machines to measurements Â
Responsible for using provided calculators or patterns to create a cut sizeÂ
Responsible for minor regular maintenance of the machinesÂ
Have a good working knowledge of the different types of fabric used in production, make sure that the correct calculator is used for each typeÂ
Troubleshoot issues and/or job questions as necessary and escalate to more experienced printer, Group Lead or Supervisor if appropriate.Â
Use a provided schedule to ensure items are cut in a timely manner, prioritize items that are shipping firstÂ
Understand the different finished products being created and report any errors in fabric type or quantityÂ
Understand the different types of common issues with fabric: slubs, waves, waking, banding, slow fire, etc. Report these errors to a supervisor or lead.Â
May be asked to assist in other areas as required by the business.Â
