This role will handle a wide span of people-operations work across the entire employee life cycle. This role centers on impactful work across recruiting, payroll, employee relations, manager support, compliance, and HR documentation, keeping our people operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, results-driven, and able to balance accuracy with employee support. This position will take place on site at our Eagan, MN headquarters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruiting: Provide assistance when needed with full-cycle recruiting efforts, including posting open roles, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offer materials, and maintain timely communication with candidates and our hiring managers.  Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, supporting onboarding and offboarding process, responding to employee inquiries, tracking compliance related paperwork, coordinating HR communications, and assisting with day-to-day department operations.  Payroll Processing: Serve as a backup for the bi-weekly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure proper calculation of benefits deductions and perform carrier connection audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Employee Relations & Manager Support: Partner with supervisors to address performance matters, clarify policies, and provide guidance on day-to-day people management. Compliance and Reporting: Assist with annual state and federal reports, affirmative action plans, and audits.  Employee Engagement Events: Contributes to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company culture activities. HRIS Data Management: Maintains accurate employee data in HR systems and generates reports to support business and compliance needs.  Compensation and Benefits:  $60,000 - $75,000 per year  Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401K with Company Match!  Employer Paid Life Insurance  FSA (Dependent and/or Medical) Pet Insurance Long-Term and Short-Term Disability  Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Insurance  Accrued PTO, Sick Time, and Paid Holidays QualificationsKey Qualifications:  Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field  Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience  At least 3 years of experience administering payroll and employee benefits programs  Experience supporting HR functions across multiple locations, with 2+ years in a multi-state environment preferred Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); experience with Paycom and/or ADP is highly preferred  Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with the ability to stay current on changing requirements Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships, provide exceptional employee support, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers  Customer-service mindset with a genuine passion for helping employees and contributing to a positive workplace culture Demonstrates a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to take ownership of challenges and drive results We look forward to seeing your application and the opportunity to speak with you further!
