Shop Manager – Delta Tire

Delta Tire is looking for a high-level Shop Manager to lead technicians, oversee shop operations, maintain operational excellence, and help deliver the best automotive care possible to our customers.

This is a leadership role for someone who has extensive hands-on automotive experience, strong diagnostic capability, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high company standards in organization, workflow, cleanliness, paperwork, and customer care.

Requirements

  •  7+ years of automotive industry experience 
  •  Former A-Level Technician 
  •  Very strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics 
  •  Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams 
  •  Strong understanding of labor times and labor rates 
  •  Experience using shop management software 
  •  Strong understanding of Mitchell, Snap-on, and other automotive information systems 
  •  Strong understanding of shop data, workflow, and operational performance 
  •  Organized and detail-oriented 
  •  Strong leadership and communication skills 
  •  Ability to train, develop, and lead technicians 
  •  Ability to uphold company standards for paperwork, workflow, shop cleanliness, and organization 
Responsibilities

  •  Lead daily shop operations and technician workflow 
  •  Assist technicians with advanced diagnostics and repair procedures 
  •  Maintain efficiency, productivity, and quality standards 
  •  Ensure inspections and paperwork are completed properly 
  •  Monitor shop organization, cleanliness, and professionalism 
  •  Help train and develop technicians 
  •  Communicate effectively with service advisors and management 
  •  Uphold Delta Tire culture and operational standards
