What You'll Do
Â
As an LPN at RCA, you will:
Â
* Assess patient health by evaluating their physiological and behavioral health, monitoring vital signs, behavioral changes, and response to treatment.
* Administer medications safely and in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
* Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure appropriate treatment/discharge plan.
* Educate patients and families about addiction recovery and self-care practices.
* Document patient progress and maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Maintain a safe, structured environment that supports recovery and well-being and respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.
* Complete documentation and follow procedures outlined in organizational policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For
Â
* An active LPN license in [state]
* A current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation).
* One year of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detox services is preferred; phlebotomy skills preferred.
* Strong critical thinking and assessment skills to provide high-quality patient care.
* Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and DSM Criteria preferred.
* Competency in performing CLIA waived testing.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
* A current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation).
