Forklift Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse and material handling environment. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials while supporting daily operations and ensuring efficiency across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck) to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping zones
• Perform inventory checks and assist with material tracking
• Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems to maintain accurate records
• Stack and organize pallets and materials in designated areas
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (1+ year preferred)
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Basic math and inventory skills
