Material Handler
Reports to: Plant Manager

Primary Purpose
Move materials and completed racks throughout the facility and efficiently with use of carts, cranes and forklifts.
Essential Duties
- Transports material or racks to and from designated areas.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
- Ensuring loads are secure.
- Moving goods packed on pallets on material carts around the facility.
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions.
- Dump materials into machine scrap hoppers.
- Perform daily equipment checks:
-recharging truck battery and lubricating equipment
-removing machine attachments and waste material from machines (machine operator should
remove attachments and re-attach when finished charging)
Education: None required.
Experience: 1 year(s) preferred in forklift.
1 year(s) preferred in manufacturing environment.
