Job Title: CNC Mill
Location: East Aurora, NY
Job Type: Contract to Permanent
Salary: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine specifications and machining processes.
- Conduct quality control checks of finished products to ensure they meet stringent specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
- Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflow and improve processes.
- Keep work area organized and maintain safety standards within the workspace.
- Document production processes and maintain records of work performed and materials used.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate in machining or CNC operations is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of CNC machinery and related tools.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and metalworking principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as CAD drawings and blueprints.
- Basic computer skills for programming and operating CNC machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
Desired Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience with Mazak CNC 5 axis Mills
- Experience with various materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
- Previous exposure to quality assurance processes and standards in a machining setting.
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) is highly desirable.
Salary & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate ranging from $29.00 to $31.00, commensurate with experience.
