Job Title: CNC Mill

Location: East Aurora, NY

Job Type: Contract to Permanent

Salary: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine specifications and machining processes.
Conduct quality control checks of finished products to ensure they meet stringent specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflow and improve processes.
Keep work area organized and maintain safety standards within the workspace.
Document production processes and maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Essential Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate in machining or CNC operations is preferred.
Proficient in the use of CNC machinery and related tools.
Strong understanding of machining processes and metalworking principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as CAD drawings and blueprints.
Basic computer skills for programming and operating CNC machines.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.

Desired Experience:

5-7 years of experience with Mazak CNC 5 axis Mills
Experience with various materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
Previous exposure to quality assurance processes and standards in a machining setting.
Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly pay rate ranging from $29.00 to $31.00, commensurate with experience.
