Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems.
- Troubleshoot remediation system operational issues
- Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling
- Collect site data and provide documentation for site activities
- Provide contractor oversight for routine tasks and non-routine projects
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team to execute field investigations and system optimization initiatives.
Key Expectations:
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment
- Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Clean driving record important
- Prior experience in an environmental field preferred
- Prior experience with pumps and piping systems preferred
- Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of midwest US.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 2+ years of related work experience preferred. May be required to attend:
* 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update).
* OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction).
* First aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training

Salary Range: $15.38 - $26.15
