The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Engineer who brings mechanical engineering knowledge and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. We value innovative and creative ideas—yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, model, and test prototypes for products
  • Conduct research and create design proposals for projects
  • Establish design briefs
  • Create concept, performance, and production criteria
  • Identify and select materials needed for production
  • Create parts lists
  • Produce final CAD generated drawings and specifications
  • List costs involved in production
  • Make samples of working models for demonstration
  • Assist with planning marketing initiative for product
  • Assist with negotiating appropriate production processes
  • Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes
  • Improve safety, reliability, and usability of items
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) for conceptual design work, proficient with Creo
  • Follows good housekeeping and enforces GMPs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • #D CAD (Creo preferred) and PDM system experience
  • Strong technical experience with troubleshoot capability
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

 

Salary - $65,400 - $94,600 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
