Job Duties

Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of steel in the warehouse
Transport material in the plant as needed
Load and unload all trucks and equipment
Visually inspect coils to ensure customer specifications are met
Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines
Utilize overhead crane and forklifts to move materials.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED is necessary
1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.
Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
