onsemi is seeking a CMP Equipment Engineer at our Hopewell Junction, NY site. The 300mm CMP Equipment Engineer is responsible for sustaining, improving, and optimizing the performance of Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) equipment in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maximizing tool availability, reducing equipment-related defects, improving process stability, driving cost reduction initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the CMP sector.Â
The engineer partners closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance Technicians, Facilities, Quality, Planning, and equipment vendors to ensure stable and efficient fab operations while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Â
