WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A GROUNDSKEEPER - BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECH

A license in carpentry is preferred. We'd also love it if you have at least a year of experience in facilities maintenance and a high school diploma or equivalent, but it's not required! We just ask that you meet the following qualifications:

Current driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to work effectively, collaboratively, and respectfully
Flexibility to work varying hours to meet the needs of the department
Ability to meet EEC/DESE requirements for in-service hours
Physical ability to carry, lift, stand, bend, kneel, and climb as needed

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR GROUNDSKEEPER - BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECH

Plan to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with on-call snow removal duties during winter.

As a Groundskeeper - Building Maintenance Tech, your primary mission is to ensure our buildings remain safe and functional. This involves a versatile skill set including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and groundskeeping.

You address minor maintenance issues swiftly, using your carpentry prowess to handle structural concerns, painting interiors and exteriors as required, and maintaining our grounds to impeccable standards. Don't forget about mandatory snow removal during winter months! Each day, you leave with the satisfaction of knowing you've made a significant impact.
