Job Purpose
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing and assisting in managing the organization's payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining precise records. This role involves collaborating with various departments and addressing employee inquiries related to payroll matters in a multi-state, multi-FEIN organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
- Process end to end payrolls in ADP Vantage, ensuring timely and accurate pay.
- Review and audit payroll inputs; wage calculations, garnishment/levies, benefits, etc.
- Collect and verify timekeeping information.
- Support year end and quarter end process.
- Performs other payroll and administrative related duties as assigned.
Systems Management:Â
- Process employee data changes including new hires, pay rate changes, terminations, etc.
- Test payroll related system enhancements, improvements, and updates.
- Audit system and employees’ changes for data integrity and accuracy.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc payroll reports for management.
Compliance:Â
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Communication:Â
- Respond to inquiries regarding payroll and time & attendance related matters.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other Payroll Team members to resolve discrepancies.
Record Keeping:Â
- Organize and manage accurate payroll records.
- Maintain Standard Operation Procedures for payroll processes.
Requirements
- Understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management.

- Capacity to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Additional Skills
- Ability to handle information of a confidential nature with discretion.
- Familiarity with relevant payroll software and systems, especially ADP Vantage and Dayforce.
