This role involves managing inventory, minimizing waste, and implementing effective pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability. The Produce Manager will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the produce department, including ordering, stocking, and inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste. - Maintain the quality of produce by ensuring proper handling, storage, and display techniques. - Train and supervise produce department staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Ensure displays are well-organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked to attract customers. - Develop and implement pricing strategies to enhance sales and profitability. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards. - Promote a positive shopping experience for customers through excellent customer service and merchandise presentation.
