Who we are looking for: We are looking for a direct support professional to help promote independence and self-esteem to persons with disabilities in a Dayhab program site and community based setting. Summary: Our Day Services program provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in a variety of group activities throughout the day at a site or in the community. Successful candidates will have: The ability to interact with our individuals in a positive and encouraging way. A professional manner, patience, empathy and possess a strong desire to help others. An interest in taking an active role in by introducing individuals to community based and site-based activities that inspire growth. Days & Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00PM QualificationsOther Requirements A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
