About the Role:
Anchor Point Early Learning Academy in East Greenwich, RI is looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Educator to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that support early childhood development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for all children
- Monitor and document individual child progress, milestones, and developmental goals
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure program consistency and quality
- Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development a plus
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early learning standards
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet RI DCYF licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Warm, energetic, and team-oriented demeanor
