The Fuel Attendant is responsible for supporting the store leadership team by executing all fuel court operations and ensuring the completion of all exterior store tasks. This includes maintaining a clean and safe fueling area, providing exceptional customer service, performing basic fuel pump upkeep, and assisting with other fuel-related duties.

The Fuel Attendant plays a critical role in creating a positive experience for Royal Farms fuel customers by upholding brand standards and delivering friendly, efficient service.
Essential Functions
Â
Customer Service & Engagement
- Ensures every customer receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging customers, and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Promotes the Royal Farms Rewards program by explaining perks, encouraging sign-ups and usage, and helping customers maximize fuel discounts through RoFo Pay transactions.
- Responds to customer requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Communicates effectively with customers and the store leadership team regarding inquiries, feedback, and vendor-related concerns.
- Provides valid receipts to customers upon transaction completion.
Fuel Dispensing & Safety Compliance
- Confirms the correct fuel type with the customer before dispensing.
- Verifies that the vehicle engine is turned off prior to fueling.
- Requires motorcyclists to dismount before beginning the fueling process.
- Pumps fuel safely and accurately into customer vehicles.
- Follows all Royal Farms safety procedures, including:
- Wearing a safety vest or designated uniform.
- Prohibiting smoking or vaping in the fuel court at all times.
- Maintaining clear and hazard-free fueling zones.
Cash Handling & Transaction Accuracy
- Collects payment and handles transactions in accordance with cash handling policies.
- Maintains accurate fuel sales records and ensures compliance with cash accountability standards.
Fuel Court Appearance & Stocking
- Maintains a clean and organized fuel court by sweeping, emptying trash, dusting, and washing windows.
- Ensures all equipment and tools in the fuel court are clean and functional.
- Restocks supplies in the fuel court, including towels, washer fluid, receipt paper, and RoFo Rewards cards.
- Removes cones from pumps when operational and ensures coverage of up to 8 pumps per person as needed.

Additional Responsibilities
- Follow Royal Farms safety, security, and operational procedures as outlined in SOPs and training materials.
- Uphold the mission, core values, and brand standards of the company by ensuring all practices reflect integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Performs other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Â
Required
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to learn and follow all Royal Farms safety processes and procedures.
Preferred
- Prior experience as a fuel attendant or in a customer service role

Work Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as squatting, stooping, crouching, and pushing.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must wear a safety vest and slip-resistant shoes while on duty.
- Must follow all safety procedures, including those for fuel handling, equipment use, and hazardous materials.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to fuel odors, cleaning products, and outdoor elements.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required by business needs.
- Must maintain reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance.
Pay Range
USD $15.92 - USD $19.00 /Hr.
