Madden’s is currently seeking seasonal Host/Hostess for the 2026 season. Duties and Responsibilities Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting and escort guests to their assigned table. Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments. Communicates wait times clearly and accurately. Coordinate with servers and management to balance seating. Maintains reservation book, takes incoming telephone calls, notes reservations and special requests by guests. Remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and general service procedures. Remains visible on dining room floor, and is easily accessible to guests, staff and management. Assists with side work and/or assisting wait staff with bussing tables Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager. Thank guests as they leave and invites them to return. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.   Skills and Abilities: Great decision-making skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work alongside other people and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. The Ability to multi-task. Time management.   Education/Experience: Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.   Work Environment: Work is performed in dining outlets, sometimes outside.     Physical Demands: Primarily standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift trays of food/drinks sometimes repeatedly.   Expected Hours of Work: Variable Schedule with nights, weekends and holidays   Travel: Less than 10% travel required.
