Conducts interviews and assists with filling out public assistance applications and forms.  Assist new admits with applying for Medicaid through the Marketplace.  Negotiates with various agencies to assist clients in obtaining necessary IDs, mandate letters, employment letters, etc.  Completes paperwork for all clients receiving SSA benefits to ensure PH is payee.  Complete SSP paperwork to get full budget payments for SSA clients.  Processes all mail-in recertification applications and coordinates face-to-face recertification appointments for HRA clients.  Assist patients if they have Medicaid Restrictions. Job Details:  Wainscott Residential - East Hampton, NY  Full Time-non-exempt  Salary range $23.00 - $24.50 QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent. REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS None REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Two years of related experience, required. Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, required.  Experience with insurance and third-party billing associated with health care benefits and medical terminology, preferred.   A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.  Excellent productivity, time management, organization, and attention to detail.  Strong computer skills are a must.
