This Manufacturing Engineer will help transform engineering designs into efficient production processes while supporting complex component manufacturing, overhaul and repair, and next-generation product development. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a technically driven organization operating within demanding aerospace standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production process development, production methods, manufacturing cell setup, layouts, production routers, build books, and detailed work instructions for new and existing products.
  • Specify, design, and coordinate manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment, including equipment and tooling acquisition activities required to support production capacity and operational needs.
  • Review engineering drawings and product designs for Design for Manufacturability (DFM), manufacturability risks, production standards, and opportunities to improve component part manufacturing.
  • Support test failure analysis, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, acceptance testing, product performance testing, and verification of test procedures for manufactured products.
  • Conduct manufacturing audits and evaluate Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) alignment while supporting engineering changes, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with CAD systems; proficiency with Creo is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, machining processes, material properties, electronics, and electrical circuits.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans, developmental testing, qualification testing, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with vibration, thermal, environmental, and duty cycle testing methodologies.
  • Ability to develop technical test reports and analyze engineering and manufacturing data to support product decisions.
  • Experience working with AS9100 Quality Management Systems, AS9100 auditing, aerospace standards, and aerospace requirements.
  • Exposure to FAA Certifications, EASA Certifications, aircraft manufacturing, military equipment, or aerospace manufacturing environments is preferred.
