What you will do:

  • Lead cross-functional IPT focused on increasing carbon seals throughput to align with increasing demand across multiple programs
  • Map current capacity within the supply base and develop plans to alleviate bottlenecks
  • Coordinate engineering activities to drive first pass yield improvements at sub-tier special processes
  • Align strategic supply chain activities with SSM (Strategic Sourcing Manager) and VSM (Value Stream Manager)
  • Ensure raw material stream consistent with needs of programs
  • Present plans and activity status to executive leadership across multiple engine platforms
  • Own and manage prioritization of sub-tier critical processes
  • Travel to current suppliers and sub-tier process houses expected 10-20% in order to develop and execute on joint recovery plans

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with 12 years of experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience

  • Extensive experience in a procurement and/or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
  • Good understanding of PW quality and engineering specifications.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
