Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced dynamic and detail-oriented Reinsurance Presales Representative (Sales Enablement) to support our sales team with presales activities, including product demonstrations, discovery calls, and RFx responses. This role will play a critical part in driving new business and requires deep expertise in reinsurance and reinsurance solutions – experience with DXC reinsurance solutions is a plus. The ideal candidate will have exceptional presentation skills, the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all business levels, and a passion for sales enablement

Essential Job Functions

As a Reinsurance Presales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales success by supporting presales initiatives and ensuring prospects understand the value of our solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to support opportunities through discovery calls, qualifying prospects, and delivering tailored solution demonstrations.
  • RFx Responses: Lead and contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and other RFx responses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demos that highlight key features and benefits to prospects and customers.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges and determine fit for our Assumed and Ceded Reinsurance solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market shifts, providing insights to the sales team.
  • Trade Shows & Conferences: Represent the company at industry events, engaging with prospects and promoting solutions.
  • Travel: Travel as needed for on-site meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Competitor Analysis: Maintain an understanding of competitor offerings and how our solutions differentiate in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with client needs.

Basic Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the insurance industry, with a focus on Reinsurance. Experience with both Property and Casualty and Life and Wealth is ideal.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and demonstrating complex solutions and systems. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Market Awareness: Strong understanding of industry trends (business and statutory), competitor offerings, and client challenges.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
