What You Will Do
- Provide technical expertise in investment casting process, supporting process and manufacturing engineers in the Rapid Prototype Casting Laboratory.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify paths to increase casting yield and quality.
- Identify and manage risk using lean tools to propose risk management solutions.
- Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions due to process failures.
- Disseminate research results through verbal and written communications, including internal reports and presentations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program studying Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong fundamental understanding of investment casting manufacturing process for single crystal nickel based superalloys.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
