Custodian - Hawaii Kai, Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: 

First impressions are important. City Mill Custodians assist in providing a great first impression by maintaining the overall cleanliness the store.  

No experience necessary! Must be dependable, a fast-learner, and have a positive can-do attitude! 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

· Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of the store, internally and externally. This includes monitoring and taking appropriate action for misplaced items, obstructions in the aisles, moisture on the floor (especially on rainy days) and other unsafe conditions that may arise. 

· Disinfects and cleans garbage and trashcans, and changes bags daily. 

· Mops all washable floors daily including break room, bathroom, etc. 

· Responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, tools and materials.  

· Refills paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers. 

· Maintains the landscape by cutting the grass, trimming plants/shrubbery, watering as needed, and all other related duties. 

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

· Have a great attitude, be a team player, and take pride in your work 

· Twelve (12) continuous months of professional custodial experience preferred 

· Experience working within a hardware or home improvement retail setting ideal
