Juniper Network Engineer (W2 Only, No C2C)

• Must have experience configuring both Juniper networking and Palo Alto firewall equipment
• Experience migrating/modifying existing network and firewall rules
• Interest/experience in security.
  • First 6 months will be dedicated to supporting the Juniper environment, but could transition to more of a network security engineer depending on need after that period.

Description

• This team does all of their own networking and recently acquired new Juniper and Palo Alto equipment.
• The majority of the network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls, are Juniper based.
• There are several VLANs across the facility and they utilize Zabbix for monitoring.
• Candidates must be familiar with BGP best practices. Any Linux, Cumulus, CMMC, or ISO27001 experience is a plus!

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
