POSITION:                      Human Resources Associate Relations Coordinator

SHIFT:                             2nd 3:00pm-11:30pm

FLSA STATUS:             Salary Exempt

 

What You’ll Do (include but not limited to):

 

  • Lead Associate investigations for the purpose of company policy enforcement and investigate Associate behaviors that do not align with Company core values.
  • Maintain professional, clear, and consistent communication with all levels of the organization.
  • Assist Associates with time-sensitive confidential matters while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Support and serve as a role model for MEI’s KPI’s of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environment
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate timely, informed decisions by utilizing Gemba practices and data analytics
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate department Associate Engagement activities
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel files
  • Maintain a customer service focus, ensuring and protecting our customer’s best interest
  • Support business plan goals; develop and monitor tasks to ensure goals are achieved
  • Develop strong business partnerships with HR team, Production Leadership teams, and Associates
  • Proactively identify gaps and inefficiencies in policies and processes to recommend continuous improvement initiatives to foster an Associate-friendly workplace culture
  • Monthly/Weekly reporting and presentations of SQCDME
  • Resourcefully manage simultaneous projects with conflicting priorities
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including onboarding and orientation
  • Support Corporate Governance initiatives
  • Participate in Benefit activities
  • Support Corporate Services programs
  • Act as a role model for all Associates and adhere to the company core values

What We’re Looking For (Education, Experiences, Skills)

Must Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Associate Relations or similar HR role
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Working knowledge of federal and state HR regulations 
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Flexibility to work different hours as needed by the department/business

 

 

   Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Familiarity with FMLA, STD, and other leave programs
