Nurse Practitioner-Surgery Clinic/Wound Care

Overview

River Valley Physicians, part of East Liverpool City Hospital, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work in their surgical clinic, wound care center and hospital.  This is a hybrid position requiring a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

General Job Duties Include:

• Hybrid position for Surgical, Wound Care and Outpatient Surgery Clinic
• Wound Care Certification Required
• Work in Outpatient Surgery Clinic, Wound Care Center and hospital 
• Monday-Friday hours
• 8am-5pm
• Potentially cover/float at nearby locations 
• Full-Time

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP

2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse

3. BLS upon hire and maintain current

4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
