Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner FT/PT

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Emergency Medicine team at Carewell Health. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a fast-paced community emergency department alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests.
- Perform emergency procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, and other bedside procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, consultants, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current New Jersey PA or NP license.
- NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification.
- Active DEA registration.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.
- Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Hours: Mon.and Wed. 9a-7p or 2p-12a. Tue, Thur, Fri - 9a-5p or 4p-12a. Sat/Sun 10a-8p
Full-time 10 shifts per month or part-time 4-6 shifts per month .
